HE DID IT!!!

Mike got the job at Bank of America!! Finding a job period is so hard and such a drag and very frustrating and right now, it's really the pits! But he's stayed so upbeat and has always worked so hard. I think one thing that I will always continue to learn about Mike is how much he will persevere even when things seem impossible. I can't even say how excited I am and how proud I am of him! We feel so blessed! Life is good! I love you Mike! Now we're going to go celebrate!

Ducks at the Park

Ashley loves taking our nieces and nephews to the park. Every time they come over she says, "let's take them to see the ducks."

Before Zach and Ave we went with Jen and all her kids.

But on our last visit the big geese started chasing us around. Below you can see how nervous they were making Tristan, that's only because he just watched Cord and I run from the big one when it went to bite at us.
I know this isn't too exciting of a post, but oh well.

Suns Fans

What a season so far! Ash and I only get certain games on our cable box but we want to have little suns parties whenever it is possible, we just always loved the ones we got to go to with my uncle Doug. We'll have our first one tomorrow against the Lakers if anyone wants to join us.
Also it looks like we're going to get to go to a game this year thanks to Sal, when the Suns face off the Spurs. I'm sooooo excited! The picture above is from when Ash got to go last year. It's awesome having a sister-in-law that loves sports so much.

P.S. Ash is making Christmas Cards for people for free right now! check out her LAYOUTS PAGE for more info.

Tickets to the BIG GAME

Sal scored us tickets to our first NFL game ever. She and I had both been to our share of College games but this was our first experience with the big dogs. It was awesome! The closer we got to our seats the more excited we were. Thanks again Sal!
Here we are trying to act happy about the actual game. What happened Warner!? He had a rough game and we had a pretty bad beat.
It was still awesome. When we left and walked to our car we did the usual talk of how awesome it would be to have season tickets and have tailgate parties every game. And with a sister-in-law like Sal I'm pretty sure we're going to get to have some of that in our future. It's gonna be awesome!

Costumes and Halloween Fun

Ash and I had to dress up for work this year. Ash went as a cowgirl, she did not want me to post this picture but how could I resist, I love Ash as a cowgirl. I went as a Zombie.

Ave wouldn't let me get a picture of her so she doesn't get one of our photoshoped backgrounds.
We got a chance to see all the nieces and nephews, which was fun. They all looked great!

And last we went to Jerry and Helena's party. It was great, good food and good fun. Jerry looked great as Wolverine. That's real hair he grew for this look.

And here we are...we decided to go as trailer trash after Tammy helped me out with this mullet wig. I loved Ashley's touch of being pregnant with a cigarette?

It was a great Halloween!

Some Family Get Togethers

First Brian got a bunch of the Goodman Family together to eat some Mexican food and then we got to wake up and eat at the Crackle Barrel (Which I have decided is probably my favorite place to eat at). Anyway I think Ashley's two favorite things in the world are family and eating out, so she seemed pretty happy. Thanks again for getting everyone together Brian.
Next Avery got a bunch of Wiltbanks together for her birthday. It was crazy over there. Looks like these kids are taking over now. Sometimes I get tired just watching them run around, guess I'm getting old or something.

It was awesome to see so much family. We even made one last stop at Jen's to watch a movie and ended up getting to see Nate return from a hunting trip. He said he walked and walked and only killed some weird critter. I don't remember what it was called but Jen pointed out it looked like one of those tribal singing animals from the cartoon Madagascar. Anyway Nate said he ended up finishing it off by beating it with a rock. He said that he felt bad after it started screaming. But I guess he needed at least one kill to show after they searched for so long.

Little Friends

We got to hang out with Cord and Whit the other night and had a ton of fun! It's been good to be able to see them more often!! Little Ave is SOO cute! She LOVES her Uncle Mike! She was hangin' with him all night.
She'd punch him in the face and when he'd react, she'd just CRACK UP...maybe she gets it from Cord
Watchin' the movie-she was SO good!
I love how much time and attention Mike gives his nieces and nephews. And they all love him so much! Most kids do as soon as they meet him. I think they know he's really just like them at heart!
Mike and Marian in Eagar, sorry TERRIBLE pic! I love the look on Mike's face though!
Mike and Harlee
Mike and Zack-even my own blood likes him better than me! Remember this story?
Thanks for always making life so much fun and letting me come along Mike! We're so lucky we have the cutest, funnest nieces and nephews! Thanks for always hanging out w/ us guys! We love you all!

One of My Greatest Weaknesses...

is paid programming! For some reason I like it, I really find it entertaining. The really bad thing though is that I am always sold! Luckily I freak out about people having my credit card number and phone number so I never actually call.

Anyway, my dreams have slowly been coming true as I have noticed that a few stores are starting to sell 'As Seen on TV' products here and there.

I was moseying through Target the other day when I saw THIS!!!:I almost bought it but didn't, then went back and bought it the next day. My plan was to try have Mike fix a leak in the air conditioning on the Civic w/ it but he another project in mind.

THIS:
The air conditioning isn't the only thing broken...he's tried a few different tricks to keep the bumper from flying off while driving down the freeway but nothing really eliminated the fear.
So, here's the steps: cut and knead...
Apply....
Let it sit for about an hour and...
FIXED! This pic. was taken about two weeks after we put it on and it's still holding strong...like concrete! According to the original infomercial I watched, you can make a chain out of it and tow a semi....that's was what sold me!

Now is the time, the time is now...

That's what this man says:
And this man says:
So I'm not going to keep putting off blogging even though I haven't been taking ANY pictures and I should be applying the same quote to laundry, cleaning, homework, etc.

Life's moving fast! I need to blog more 'cause I don't want to forget all the memories we've been making!

A few of them are (in no particular order):

*Getting to see Tam and Brando! We can't wait to have you guys closer!!
*Mike working, working, working
*Quitting my job (Yay!) and then starting it again (Yay!)
*Frisbee on Thursdays
*Movie Nights (TBA)
*Golf, dinner and the Office w/ Nicole
*Mike's making a video!!!
*Mike lovin' golf
*My first day of school (this we do have a picture of thanks to Mike)
That's about as far back as I can remember. Lame. I know. Lame post. I know. But ya gotta start somewhere...now on to the other things I should be 'now is the timing'....

A Little Drama

A few months ago, my parents got us tickets to go to our family's favorite dinner theater in Tucson. We were all able to go and had a great time!!

Here's the stage. We had pretty good seats. They come serve you food while you watch the play.

My sis and me.

Brian was feeling a little sore so turned to some alternative medicine.

Wish we could've gotten more pictures. Zack was mezmerized. He was SO into the play! The ones we do have though are thanks to Mike's phone. It was great to see everyone and hang out w/ the fam!

stp Update

I'm trying to get back to making videos again. I can already tell that I am rusty and don't really know what I'm doing but it is fun as always. This first video we've started making is a golf video that has Jordan Willis and Tyler Norton.
They've both been in some of my videos before and do a great job.

I don't think my humor has matured much so I'm not sure people will think this is too funny, but in my head it is and we have been laughing a ton while making it. I am also planning on making a couple more in the near future starring Jacob Boddeker, Andy Bingham, Matthew Crosby, and at long last Steven Tucker.

Congratulations!!!

Brian!! My bro, just graduated with his Master's Degree!! We didn't get to go to the graduation but we were able to go over and have pizza and cake with them! :) It was good to see them and the fam! Congrats Bri!! We're proud of you! We know you've been working really hard! We've also been up to a lot of other activities that I keep forgetting to bring my camera to! Mainly, we want to announce that we're playing frisbee (or some other sport if it comes up) every Thursday night. Usually at MCC around 7:30 or 8 but if you're interested in coming on a Thursday, call or text one of us and we'll let you know exactly what's going on.Other things we've done and I didn't take pictures:
*School clothes shopping/hanging out w/my bros who came to visit
*Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at midnight
*Coraline with Megan and Becca
*Soccer for Lana's birthday
*Someday soon we're hanging out w/ Cord and Whit!! :)

P.S. I didn't know this was bloggable material until just a few minutes ago but now I do so...more congratulations are in order as we found out last month that my mom is pregnant!! It's quite the shock for everyone! She went to her first appt. last week and everything is looking good. Personally, I'm very excited for her!! I know it's happening for a reason! I think she's been such a great mom the first time, God didn't want to let her stop so he's sending her another little spirit to take care of! :) We're excited to have another member of our family. I'm excited that Mike will be just as much of a brother to this baby as me or any of my other siblings are. I know Brian feels the same way with Mel. It's just exciting!
It seems like life is constantly changing and taking us by surprise but things have never been better!

4th of July

It's always good to see all the family and friends on the fourth. We got do all the standard stuff of the parade, bar-b-ques, fireworks, etc.. We also had a little tie die experiment before going to the parade. It was pretty fun unveiling your creation.

My mom was in charge of the 3rd ward float this year. They decided to build the Statue of Liberty and it was hands down the best. I know Dale Goodman put a lot of work into it, along with a lot of help from others. He is in the bottom right corner walking next to the float.

My favorite part of the fourth was the games. We got to have a couple tennis tournaments and played big games of ultimate frisbee on Friday and Saturday. I'm really sore from it all.

Happy 4th of July!
