Movie Night

We got to go over to Johnny and Melina's house last night and watch Jurassic park after reading the book and it was great. All kinds of good movie snacks and good company. I'm really wanting to institute a movie night once we have a good place to host instead of putting it on someone else. Thanks a lot Johnny and Melina.

By the way the book for April is Angels & Demons if anyone wants to join me then take a look at my book club blog. Also don't forget to give me recommendations soon for next months poll and comment about Jurassic Park if you read it. We are going to go and watch Angels & Demons in May when it hits the big screen if anyone wants to join us. I hope it's good.

River Rafting?

Josh sends me short text messages every once in a while. Things like "Movie?" or "Climbing?" and then I find myself rock climbing with him and it's always great. Well the last one he sent said "River Rafting?" and then I found myself here.

It was pretty sweet, but I'm ready for some more intense stuff next time. We didn't even fall out of the boat, well until we were almost to the shore line and I tackled Josh. He wasn't going to make it home without falling into that cold water. Thanks again Josh, it was a blast.

Work at Home

Started with a basketball hoop for the Trist

( by the way I got to watch another game with the Trist and it was intense. Trist's team was down by one with about a minute left to play and Trist got fouled and went to the line. He made both his foul shots and then ended up making one more basket after that to really seal thier victory. What a game!)

Then we moved on to the bathroom

The plan was to rip everything out and then move it over for a shower/bath to be added.

at that point we had to just wait for the plumber. And because the guest room was going to have it's own shower dad wanted some changes on his bathroom. We fixed the ceilings and took out a door.

So no more getting through from the guest room. This is really weird for everyone that is used to going through here.

I was excited to take on these projects because we're looking into buying a house. I want to start working on our own place so bad. This helped give me an idea of some possible changes I might be able to make on the places we consider.

Inception!

First of all, I have no intention of mentioning everyone's birthdays when they come by, it's just too hard. However I wanted to say Ash and I recently went to Stuart's party and played some fun games and that Tristan's birthday just went by and I got to watch him play some basketball. What a game. Went into over time and the Trist lead the team in rebounds.

Now I have to tell everyone, even though no one really cares, that my favorite director Christopher Nolan has finally posted his next movie. It's a sci-fi called "Inception" which means the establishment or starting point for an institution or activity. It's listed to star Ellen Page and Leonardo DiCaprio. I'm pumped to see it, but it doesn't come out until 2010.
