More Summer Fun!

Last Monday, Mike had a REALLY long day at work in St. Johns. He was sad that he probably wouldn't be able to see the kids all day, since he left before they woke up and didn't expect to get home until after they'd be in bed.

We decided to make a little trip there to go swim and hopefully catch him on his lunch break.

The kids had so much fun!  I REALLY hope this pool thing in Eagar goes through! I always imagined myself teaching my kids to swim and having little fish. TOE, you are ruining my dreams! But hey, we now have a skate park so, what more can ya ask for?

After we swam, we had a little picnic at the park next to the pool. This girl has been making the funniest faces lately! She's getting such a personality!

She's about to snatch his food and start a fight...

Mike ended up getting home earlier than he anticipated, but still feeling like he'd missed out on the day, he took Grant to watch "Turbo" at El Rio.

The next few days, we spent at the park and spending as much time as possible outside!

My mom got Bets this little scarf. She is too cute!

And goofy!

Grant was playing alone outside one day and I heard him talking to someone. When I got a little closer, I realized he was singing "the prophet has some words for you, be true, be true, be true, be true", a song they sing in nursery. I don't think he remembered the rest of the words because the "Be true"'s continued for the remainder of the song, but it made my heart happy that he's retaining the good things he learns. He's such a sweet kid!

Oh dear...

Remster came for a walk with my mom and me one evening. She's always such fun company!

And another stink face...she's a hoot!

My very good friend Whitney came by at the end of the week and we got to see each other for the first time in about seven years! It's CRAZY how fast time flies! And awesome that even though you go that long without seeing each other, your friendship can pick up right where you left off!

Whitney has two boys close to Grant and Remi's age and we were SO happy to have friends over!

I LOVE Atlas's face in this picture! He was so shy at first but once they got on the tramp, he was ready to have some fun!

I love Grant's hair mid-jump! Atlas wasn't quite sure what to do with the cape Grant threw at him.

There we go...

They played so well together and made such great little buddies right away!

Right before they left, I caught all the kids (and Mike) gathered around baby Lex. So sweet! We can't wait to play with them again!

That was our week in a nutshell! Have I mentioned how much FUN we've been having this summer?!
