Games and Activities

We haven't been posting much but we've been keeping busy. Recently Ash and I got some tickets from Sal (thanks Sal) and we got to watch a couple ASU basketball games. For those of you that don't know, both games were really close and ASU still came out on top. The UofA game was packed! Ash hates when I post pictures of here but here's a cell phone pic anyways.

I also got to go indoor rock climbing with my cousin Josh and played paintball with Jordan. Both of which made me want to own the gear to go all the time.
Ash and I also went Whitney's birthday party last weekend. Happy Birthday again Whitney, sorry our gift was so small.
I can't remember what other activities we've done recently but it's never enough. I love how many fun things there are to get into and it's so hard for me to just stick with a couple. Anyway if anybody has any fun things lined up for the future be sure to send Ash and me and invite. We're usually down for anything.

Book Clubs

I hate that I never read! I feel like I have read some good religious books, even though I can always read more, but I never just read casually.
A while back a couple friends of mine started a book club and I thought it was great, but everyone quit out pretty quick and it made me sad. So I got this genus idea of starting a book club on a blog. Then people could join in whenever they wanted and participate whenever they wanted. We wouldn't have to meet up to talk about the books, we could just leave comments.

After making the blog page I decided it wasn't such a genus idea because I started realizing I couldn't think of anyone that would want to do this. I decided to continue with it anyways. Alone. It truly is Mike's Book Club, just Mike's. Anyway I'm going to try and read one book every month for the rest of this year. Join me if you ever feel like reading the same book as me. Oh and you can vote on the next book I read.

My first book is going to be Jurrasic Park by Michael Crichton. It will be my book for March.

Photo Retouch

I'm always learning new things with photography. I recently learned some techniques to make images look a little less flat. This is an image I took and gave to Jacob and Heidi.
Although I think it looks alright I feel this next image is brighter and has more depth.
The difference is kind of small but I'm excited about it. So if you have an image taken by us and want it retouched let us know.
