Easter Pageant/Lion King

For Christmas this year, I drew Sal's name. She kept saying all she wanted was to go see The Lion King at Gammage so that's what we did! It was SO much fun! I'm so glad that's what she wanted and that I got to go too! :) We loved it so much, it was incredible! If anyone ever gets the chance to go, you should! We'll definitely be going the next opportunity we get!
So the whole Lion King experience got my little mind thinking about how many amazing things like that are going on all the time and we're just missing out on them...too busy watching TV I guess. I've decided that I LOVE live entertainment though...Mike has this thing where he loves watching movies in the theater, makes it a totally different experience for him, my thing is watching anything live. So Mike, knowing this about me, took me to the Easter Pageant for my first time! Again, I didn't know such cool things were going on every year apparently! It was so fun! We're hoping to make it a new tradition!

(Notice our snacks in the corner...seems like we can't go anywhere without them!)
Thanks Mike! You're the best!

I'm still alive...

So apparently Mike's pretty sad he's been the only one posting and is forcing me to make a post. I'll have everyone know I haven't completely abandoned the blog and have been spending most of my limited computer time making layouts. I'm glad he's been keeping up with the blog though, and I like reading his posts! :) I've also been meaning to post about how he saved my life by saving the computer I've been using, he spent a lot of time on it and made it work when a lot of experienced people said it was hopeless. I was SO happy! It seems like a lot has been going on lately and I either don't have my camera with me or do and don't post the pictures. Maybe someday...

This weekend we also got to go to RV. It was so nice to be home! We got to hang out with both the fam's and feel like we got some stuff done. We watched Lonesome Dove (I didn't make it through the whole thing), got to see Bri, Mel and Zack who were there, got to see Coz and had some really good food.

Other than that, we've just been trying to keep up with life...everything seems to be going by so fast lately. Mike's new job at the golf course has gotten him excited for free golf. He really loves golfing. He's taught me a few things about the game and I think it will be pretty fun when/if I can learn it...right now I'm very surprised about how hard golfing is! I told him I'll get more serious about it and really learn when he learns to cook! :) Here are some pics of him and Cord playing today. We also went out to eat with Cord and Whit last night and had a good time with them! I'm glad we can hang out and be friends with our fam! It's so nice!

That's about it...sorry it's long...trying to catch up and now I'm off the hook for a while. :)

Where's Ash?

Man I'm tired of being the only one posting on this thing as I'm sure you all are as well. The sad thing is that Ash has all the really exciting news. I know some of you know this but it was never posted. She got into nursing school! The wait I think is ridiculous but it's over. I'm really proud of her. She is going to go to the Phoenix College in August and will graduate in December 2010.As for myself I'm still struggling to get solid work. My brother Cord just got me what is now my 5th job. I've been working part time at Blockbuster, as a part time photographer, I've already got on to help my Dad with White River Construction, Adam got me a job cleaning grease traps for his brother, and now I work at the golf course with Cord. The sad thing is I still don't work as many hours as I should. I guess I need another job.

Last I just want to mention that last night we went to Tim and Tori's Bar-b-que. It was awesome to see everyone there, and then we got to play Volleyball until the lights went out. Tim found a switch and said don't worry I'll turn those lights back on, but he was turning on the sprinklers instead. It was crazy sprinklers popped out of the volley ball poles and started spraying down the courts. Does anybody else think that's odd. Anyway that was the end of our volleyball.
