3 Months and 2 Years

Well we're a little late this month due to the fact the the battery to our camera is missing!  We finally buckled down and bought a new one on Amazon.

So FINALLY, here are Remi and Grant in all their 3 month and 2 year glory!

Since last month, Remi has made some big strides!  She laughed for the first time and has gotten much more smiley and social.  She's finally started to demand some attention from us (which is a good thing!  Before she would honestly easily go a whole day without making a single fuss!).

Grant is talking in full sentences and understands and wants to participate in pretty much everything that's going on around him.  He amazes everyone (including us) with his smarts!  He's a pretty good mix of shy and social and has a pretty good knack for remembering people and their names.

We went to the Valley this last weekend and Remi got her ears pierced!  I really don't know why but for whatever reason, I was SUPER excited.  Remi did GREAT and I think she looks so dainty and pretty with her little earrings!  Here's a close up:

Grant and his Inny Doughns jacket.  He's pretty attached to it.  It's going to be a sad day when it doesn't fit anymore!  But Mike's already excited to see what his daughter's going to look like in it.  I'd say it was a good investment. :)

This is practically the same picture but we wanted to show her little smirk.  She has the sweetest disposition!  She rarely cries or is bothered by things.  She's an EXCELLENT sleeper (which has been a huge relief after Grant) and usually sleeps through the night for about 12 hours.

Grant and Flattop. :)  We're not quite sure at this point where life is going to take us but we've sure been thankful Grant's been able to run around the mountains where we grew up!

We just love our kids and can never get over how amazing they both are! Every parent probably feels this way but a vast majority of Mike's and my conversations go something like this:
"Man!  Our kids are SO cool!"
"Seriously, how did we get such awesome kids?"
We feel so lucky to be a part of their lives!
