Better to Prepare & Prevent than Repair & Repent

Today I threw away my Crocs (or whatever brand they were, they weren't really Crocs).

I've been suffering from chronic foot pain since trying to learn to skateboard almost a year ago (while wearing the Crocs). Once the pain started up my ankle, knee and hip, I decided I should go to the Podiatrist.

Apparently I've made a tiny bone in my foot called a sesamoid pretty angry. I have to go in again for an MRI to hopefully rule out a break.
He pretty much said that Crocs (or Croc type shoes) are horrible for your feet. Then he folded my shoe up into a little ball to demonstrate...I guess shoes that are good for your feet aren't supposed to do that.

From now on, I'm going to pay for good, quality shoes...maybe even research a bit before I buy. Regardless of how much they cost, I'm sure they'll be cheaper than a couple of Dr.'s visits, an X-ray, an MRI, prescriptions and whatever else is in the future for my sad little foot bone.

Wow, my hatred of crocs has now been justified. Thank you very much.

Poor little bone! I'd be angry too! :)
Try some Merrells- they are pricey but we love them!!
